Year 3 have been busy becoming rock detectives! The class explored different types of rocks, learning how they are formed and how we can identify them by their properties. They grouped and classified a range of rock samples before taking part in a hands-on experiment to see how erosion and layering affect rock formation. It’s been a fantastic week of discovery and curiosity in science.
