Year 6 took part in the SDBE Art Competition, themed 'Belonging'. They poured their creativity into thoughtful and expressive artworks, exploring what belonging means to them. We are incredibly proud that two of our pupils had their work shortlisted - an outstanding achievemnt given the strong competition from schools across our diocesan family. Well done to all our Year 6 for taking part!
What a lovely achievement — congratulations to Year 6 on the two shortlisted entries! 'Belonging' is such a thoughtful theme, and it's wonderful to see the children exploring it so creatively. We used Wheel of names (https://wheelnames.org) recently to draw winners in a small art raffle at our after-school club — it's a fun, fair way to pick names. Well done to all the young artists who took part!
