Sports Day Results
After a hot sports day, we have tallied up the results. 4th place with 996 points was Goldcrest 3rd place with 1121 points was Wagtails 2nd place with 1172 points was Kingfisher 1st place with 1182 points was Herons Herons remains the reigning champs for yet another year! St John’s Hosts Spectacular Annual Country Dance Festival!
We are incredibly proud to have organised and hosted this year’s annual Country Dance Festival,bringing together 22 schools from across the boroughs of Kingston and Richmond—as well aswelcoming visiting schools from neighbouring boroughs. Inclusion Hub
This is our new Inclusion Hub, generously funded by the wonderful PSA. It quickly transformed from the old IT suite into a green space with murals on the walls, becoming a delightful and calming multi-purpose area for our children.

Year 5 Hampton Court Trip
Newton Class embarked on a fantastic educational Tudor trip to Hampton Court Palace. We started off with a workshop investigating Henry’s powerful personality and his struggle to break away from the Catholic Church to form the Church of England. Inter School Athletics
A group of Year 5s attended an athletics event at Weir Archer stadium. The event included a 600m race, a 75m sprint, standing long jump, and a vortex throw. Despite the unpredictable weather, they pushed through and did great. Our school came in 3rd.

Year 2’s Wild Adventure
Our Year 2 explorers headed off on a highly anticipated trip to London Zoo that turned out to be an absolute roaring success. World Toilet Day 2026
This week our Year 5 RRS Ambassadors, Faith Group and School Council led our World Toilet Day assembly. This is an annual United Nations observance day to tackle the global sanitation crisis. Our Ambassadors raised awareness of the 3.5 billion people living without safe toilets and 2.2 billion people living without safe drinking water. Our Key Stage 1 scientists had a blast this week in Science Club exploring the cool world of sublimation and gas expansion. To celebrate and encourage active travel, Nursery and Reception were invited to get creative, decorate their wheels, and ride their bikes and scooters into school for a spectacular grand parade. Language of the Month: Italian!
A huge well done to Grace in Year 6 for brilliantly leading our Language of the Month! Conerstone Church Visit - Easter Experience
Year 5 visited Conerstone church for the Easter experience. The class travelled back 2,000 years to Jesus’ time. They immersed themselves in the Easter story in real-time and met characters who were at crucial events from the last days before Jesus’ death, and those after his resurrection. Food Wastage Initiative
For our Global Neighbours project, we looked into our food wastage from school dinners. We used our record book of daily waste and added it together for Autumn term, and again for Spring term. We were shocked to find out how much waste we had created, and shared this news with the school. We hope our presentation helps our food wastage decrease in them Summer term.
