Bronze Age workshop
The children enjoyed a fascinating Bronze Age workshop led by Millie’s family, who live on a farm near Hastings where a real Bronze Age settlement was discovered. They explored the Stone and Bronze Ages, handled examples of ancient tools, and learned how people lived closely with nature. Everyone had a go at making cordage from nettles and created their own clay pinch pots inspired by Bronze Age pottery. It was a fun, hands-on session that really brought history to life!
