During Class 3's immersive exploration of Ancient Egypt, we delved into the mysterious realms of mummification, examined the secrets concealed within sarcophagi, and explored the intricate writing system of hieroglyphics.
Mummification:
After unraveling the meticulous process undertaken by the ancient Egyptians to preserve their deceased, we put our newfound knowledge into practice by wrapping bananas with puff pastry strips before putting them into bake.
Sarcophagus:
Next, we constructed a 3-D sarcophagus to place our banana mummies in.
Hieroglyphics:
We finally explored the Ancient Egyptian writing system by decoding and writing our names on a tile. This mindful activity coincided with Mental Health Week.
