Egyptian Day
We’ve had a fantastic Egyptian Day in class today.The class made an amazing effort into their incredible costumes – from impressive pharaohs and dazzling Cleopatras to powerful Gods and even a pyramid. The children truly looked the part! The day was organised as a carousel of hands-on activities. Viking Day
Year 5 had a successful Viking Day. The pupils engaged in a range of exciting Viking activities: writing their names in Anglo-Saxon runes; make and bake Viking bread, yeast bread and focaccia bread in order to make a comparision between them; engaging in a tug of war game and learning about the Battle of Hastings. It was fantastic to see most of the children coming into school as Viking warriors, farmers or normal children in those time.

Turing Y6 Remembrance Day Reflections
This is our Remembrance Day display with a wreath made by Nursery. We have Remembrance Day because we remember the people who fought for our peace in WW1 and WWII. Poppers grew on the battlefield of the war grounds - Chelsea … and in the fields poppies grew where once stood soldiers strong and true.
