St John’s was filled with the spirit of discovery as we celebrated the milestone 100th birthday of the legendary naturalist, Sir David Attenborough. From our youngest learners in Nursery to our budding scientists in Year 6, every child took part in honouring a man who has dedicated his life to protecting our planet. St John’s were lucky enough to be represented by Laia Bowen Yr 1 and Isabel Chung Yr 6 in the Kingston Rotary Club competition. The theme this year was ‘I grow in or on the ground and people eat me.’ Laila won 2nd prize in the Yr 1 category and Isabel won 1st prize in the Yr 6 category. They both received their prize from the Mayor of Kingston. Well done to both girls for their wonderful arwork. We are very proud of you.
