Mini Cooper Art

The Year 2’s have loved learning about the history of Kingston this term, the Mini Cooper was certainly one of the highlights!

These are their own Mini livery designs, displayed next to the Paul Smith Mini at the Mini Day held in Kingston over the weekend. John Cooper, a key figure in the Mini Cooper's development, was born in Kingston and established his car company in Surbiton. The iconic Mini Cooper was designed at a garage on Hollyfield Road in Surbiton, and the Cooper Car Company was a major force in Formula One racing and the production of the Mini Cooper.
