Learning about Islam

In RE this half term Year 2 have been learning about Islam. To help bring the topic to life, Ege's mother came in to speak to the children about her faith and how it shapes her life. The children loved hearing more about the Muslim religion and the Muslim community from Ege's mother. The children asked many sensible questions afterwards and were able to see a selection of prayer mats as well as a beautiful Qur'an.
