Year 4 and Year 5 were invited to Surbiton High School for the ENERGY Live! Presentation delivered by the Royal Institute. The pupils joined over 500 other pupils from different schools across the borough. Both year groups learnt about the different stores of energy through interactive experiments! Our own pupil, Trinity in Year 4 went up and helped with one of the interactive experiments! All in all, both year groups were scientifically inspired and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! We hope they continue to be interested in the sciences and hopefully pursue the subject in the future.
Trinity in Year 4 volunteered to help during one of the Science experiments. We were learning about different types of energy. Trinity helped to make fire from water . This type of energy is called Kinetic energy. She was a great volunteer and had lots of fun doing the experiment.
