We have been awarded GOLD! by the Woodland Trust’s Green Tree Award Scheme.
Green Tree Schools Award encourages outdoor learning and our Forest School and OWL have been inspiring pupils about trees, woods and wildlife.
During the process we have demonstrated that we have planted over 400 saplings, reduced our CO2 emissions and have a recycling scheme in place. As well as growing and cooking our own food and having a tree party!
Lovely news — huge congratulations on the GOLD award! Planting over 400 saplings and getting the pupils out learning in the woods is such a wonderful achievement. For the next tree party, you could Spin the wheels (https://wheelnames.org) and let the children randomly pick which tree to plant next — it would make a fun little ceremony out of it!
