Year 5, had a fantastic trip to the Science Museum! They read newspapers and conducted Sudoku and crossword puzzles on their journeys as well as learning how to travel on the Tube!
The pupils built on their existing knowledge of the 'Earth and Space' topic in Science. Many experienced the IMAX cinema for the first time. Here, they travelled across the planetary system and went aboard in 3D to the ISS (The International Space Station) and learnt about the work the Astronauts do and learnt about the wonders of the galaxy and beyond. Year 5 enjoyed the Wonderlab and took part in lots of Science experiments. They particularly enjoyed the Sound, Matter, Forces and Electromagnetism zones as well as the Space Gallery.
