Our sports day was a little unusual this year as we had to hold it on the school grounds without our usual parent audience due to the restrictions.
Mrs Wilson organised a fabulous series of carousel events where each class rotated through different activities during the day. The weather held off and the children had a lot of fun. It was fabulous to see all classes enjoying themselves and there really was a great atmosphere, especially when the novelty races started with a wonderful race involving pushchairs and dolls from the Reception class.
Of course the day was topped off with a staff egg and spoon race where the children cheered everyone on.
