Over the past few months illustartor Gabriel Liu has been observing the goings on on our site. Gabriel has been watching us, quietly, blending into the background and recording what she's sees in her sketch book. She has carefully noted what we say and do. She has engaged with the children and allowed them to join in with her work when they have asked, even passing over her valuable sketch book and letting them make drawings.
The result is the most beautiful hand drawn book, titled "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing" which she exhibited at her degree show at Kingston University in June 2022. We are absolutely blown away by her observations. She has captured the very essence of our practice and what we are about. We will be using the book in our welcome package to new schools.
