The Easter Story

The nursery children listened to the Easter story. They waved palm leaves and shouted “Hosanna” as Jesus rode into the city on a donkey. They saw that Jesus had a special meal with his friends and thought he might have drunk some water. They remembered that they pray like Jesus did in the special garden. They were shocked to hear that the soldiers came and took Jesus away. When Jesus died, his friends put him in a special cave. Henry was shocked to see that Jesus wasn’t in the tomb anymore. The Angel told Mary that Jesus was alive again. Hooray!
