Year 3 had an exciting trip to Kew Gardens, where we explored the rainforest and discovered how people live in different places around the world. Inside the tropical glasshouses, we learned about the amazing plants, animals, and environments found in rainforests, and why they are so important. We also found out how people adapt to life in these unique regions. It was a fun, hands-on day of learning and adventure!
Wheel of names is such a fun tool — I use it to pick a rainforest plant or animal at random for little quiz games with my class, and it always gets the children excited.
