Linda Sellers

I was interested in taking on the role of governor after being involved in the St Johns Church community for many years and now wanted a way to be more actively involved in the school as my son entered Y3. My career, initially working with arts organisations on their fundraising and governance has led to me now working as a ‘headhunter’ for the charity and education sector - recruiting a diversity of talent into leadership roles. This experience has given me a good understanding of the incredible challenges schools, teachers and governing bodies need to overcome. As a governor I want to help ensure the school continues to be able to put children’s welfare and best interests at the heart of every decision.
