Parents & Carers
You can find information on Uniform, lunches, the school day, wrap around care and our house system on this page.
Uniform
It is the Governors and our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school or when participating in a school organised event outside of normal school hours. We ask that all parents, carers and children respect the school uniform policy. We believe our uniform should instil a sense of identity and belonging. We want our children to be comfortable in school as well as ensuring high standards and consistency.

Our House System
When your child joins St John's, they become a member of one of four bird house groups. These are especially motivating for gaining housepoints and events such as Sports Day, when the winning house gets to run with the trophy - the sea of colour is a beautiful sight! Our house groups are: Heron, Wagtail, Goldcrest and Kingfisher.
Our Class Names
Classes are named after scientists and you can find out more about each one on our Classes page.
We have recently gained the PSQM Science award and pupils enjoy investigating Science in an exciting way.
Our School Motto
Our school motto is a short, meaningful three word phrase that young children delight in saying:
Believe, Inspire and Achieve
We help and encourage our pupils to build inner confidence, inspire each other in their learning and ultimately achieve - being the best that they can be, whilst they're with us at St John's and in the future.
