I’ve been teaching for 20 years and have been a member of staff at St John’s for over 10 years now. I started teaching part-time in the Nursery and gradually increased my days to now working full time in Reception. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work in KS1 and lower KS2 and have been lucky enough to watch children start their journey in Nursery all the way to Year 6. I am currently job sharing the Early Years Leader role and I am also the Art co-ordinator. I live in Kingston and have two children of my own: a son aged 15 and a daughter aged 12, who both attend a local Kingston secondary school. As staff governor, I would like to support the school from a staff perspective. I see my role as one in which I can bring my teaching experience and knowledge of the school to ensure we can give all the children at St John’s the very best education we can.
