James Gay

I was elected as a Parent Governor in 2019. I am a qualified solicitor and I currently practice law at the National Education Union (formerly known as the National Union of Teachers) Through my work I am acutely aware of the challenges facing schools today and the difficulties there are in running and planning around a results focused school curriculum. I have three boys at St John’s School and am proud to be part of the governing body whilst offering my legal skills where required. I enjoy running and am taking part in the 2020 London Marathon as well as watching and playing a variety of other team sports
