St John’s celebrated Earth Day. The Earth Day theme for 2022 is ‘ Invest in our Planet’. As a whole school, we thought about what we could do to look after our world. The children fully engaged with this, were keen to play their part, and made promises to protect the environment. Some of the suggestions shared by the children are: recycling more, putting litter in the bin, reducing our use of energy, turning off the tap when brushing their teeth, and not wasting food. Our children felt that every day should be an Earth Day.
